Social Chat

Last week a number of  Saudi women in the United Arab Emirates took a bold stand for female rights by driving through their nations capital, challenging the male-only driving rules. As we know women's rights are basically nonexistent in most Arab countries. So I wanted to say a big kudos to these women for standing up for what they believe!!!

Honoring Dads...

I know father's day has passed, but I wanted to share a little bit of info I saw on abc news a couple nights ago. As a mom my heart usually pounds a little harder whenever dad plays rough with the kids. I swear I always think my babies are gonna get hurt; but they never do...doesn't stop me from worrying. Well not only is my worrying unfounded it turns out roughhousing is actually good for the little buggers. Aside from the daddy/kid bonding it teaches them important life skills such as being good sports (when they lose) and boosts self-confidence when they do when....interesting :-) you can find more of the article here
